Volunteer Opportunities at Eco Education
e-Mentor
The e-Mentoring program connects 5th-12th grade students with environmentally connected/concerned community members. It is a great way for kids to get to know their community partners, get a look at different environmental careers, gain knowledge on environmental issues, and gain skills in technology and correspondence. Volunteering as an e-mentor takes no more than one hour per week, corresponding through an online forum to give students ideas, connections and support as they work on community issues and action projects.
Community Partner
Share your expertise on urban environmental issues or local neighborhoods with students in the classroom or have a group of students take a field trip to your community site.
Organizational Volunteer
We have limited volunteer opportunities in the Eco Education office.
Eco Education hosts a fundraising event each spring. If you have event planning experience and are interested in working with staff and board members to plan and implement our next event, please contact us for more information.
